I have such a special place in my heart for this adorable family. I was lucky enough to meet them back in August of 2010 for their engagement pictures. A mutual friend recommended me to them and I couldn't be more thankful. Back in the early part of November they welcomed a beautiful daughter to their family. I was so thankful that they called me to photograph this beautiful girl! Tim & Laura - thank you! Thank you for becoming friends and allowing me to be a part of such an important piece of your lives. Miss R. is such a darling baby girl. I hope to get to see her often as she grows! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Sneak Peek for the Schaefer Family {Parker, CO Family Photographer}
I have had the privilege of being able to photograph this beautiful family before and I am so happy that I was able to squish this session in before the debut of a little person in our family arrives. The Schaefer's are amazing people and I can't help but smile when I get to be around them and their beautiful boys. We were able to run around downtown Parker earlier this afternoon and enjoy the last rays of Colorado sunshine before the sky would get too dark to take decent pictures. We had fun roaming and the boys had fun running and jumping. I think the jumping pictures are so funny. Anyway, this is just a brief few that I pulled...so, enjoy!

Sneak Peek for the D'Amato Family {Parker, CO Family Portrait Photographer}
I was lucky enough to get to photograph this family thanks to a wonderful charter school called North Star Academy. I donated a session for this school's auction last year and the D'Amato family won! What a treat! Being nearly ready to pop with my last of six children, they were great sports about keeping it simple during this session. Thankfully they also have a beautiful which is nicely located in a beautiful part of Colorado! It was a win-win-win situation!
Here is your sneak peek D'Amato's! Thanks for such a great adventure! Enjoy!

Sneak Peek for Miss S! {Senior Portraits, Parker, CO}
I love doing Senior Portraits! Seniors are so much fun to work with and just seem to know exactly how to pose for the camera! Miss S. and her Uncle were so much fun to be with, and made it so easy to get carried away taking way too many pictures and finding great places and poses for this beautiful girl.

Sneak Peek for my Sweet Friends & Baby L {Newborn & Children's Photographer, Parker, CO}
This adorable family belongs to my sweet friend Britta. I do love this lady and her small ones. I was so happy to be able to do these pictures for them...and like any session with more than two kids, inevitably their smiles become more forced, their frustration with being told to smile bigger starts to rankle their hides...and that's just Britta & Brent :) Just kidding. These sweet people are lovely and so are their little babies. Little Mr. L. was recently added to their family a little over a month ago and he makes such an adorable addition to his already cute brothers and sister! Anyway, Britta - thanks for being patient. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Love Mr. R's face on this next one...he was getting sick of being asked to smile :)

Sneak Peek for Little Miss A! {Centennial Children's Photographer}
This beautiful little girl was such a hoot during the session. Her sweet parents had switched times for some scheduling conflicts that arose on my end - and that sweet little girl was just a smidge tired. But, she was such a trooper. And I would be amiss not to mention how great her momma and daddy were too. I think her daddy had the work out of a lifetime that afternoon though. He was such a good guy to have done so much work to make his little girl happy! He was up and down and in and out making his little girl giggle. Too sweet. Anyway, enjoy this sweet little sneak peek of this beautiful baby!

Sneak Peek for Beautiful Baby R {Newborn Photographer, Parker, CO}
This beautiful little man was such a sweet baby the entire session. He is so tiny and every little wrinkle on his body just begged to be loved...he is a treasure. It is hard not to enjoy a session like this with such a precious little subject and when his mom and dad are so fun to be around! Thad & Mary, thank you again for letting me spend some time with your family! Enjoy this little sneak peek!

Sneak Peek at a New Year's Eve Wedding Celebration : {Akron, CO & Denver, CO Wedding Photographer}
If you remember New Years Eve and the weather...you will smile to yourself when imagining how graciously this now newly wed couple pulled off their wedding! Picture a small town with close ties between neighbors. I think this is a pretty good description of Akron, CO. I had never been here before, but Tianna assured me, if I blinked - I might miss it. Had the wind not been blowing upwards of what I would guess to be 50-60 mph, I would have died to tour the town and take our time outside nailing all the great shots we wanted to get in cool locations. Be the weather as it was, this was not really an option. When I arrived at the wedding, I nearly got my heavy door thrown back into my body courtesy of the wind. I made it into the church with Kelsey (my business partner/second shooter) without anything too embarrassing happening. We got some shots of Justin & the men in their duds for the day. We even attempted braving the outdoors...yeah, that didn't last long.

Then, it was off to Tianna's sister's home which was nearby. By this point, the snow was whipping around in the wind too. It was awesome!! (I'm being partly facetious, but it was actually kind of pretty too) Tianna and all her ladies in waiting were nearly ready so we got some fun shots of them...my favorites are the ones with the bags over their hair so as not to allow the wind to muss them! Dang it all if we weren't trying to hurry and I nailed a nice, slightly blurry one...but it's for the memories, right?

Then, back to the church to squeak in a handful of shots before guests began to arrive. Justin was put into quarantine and not allowed to see Tianna before she made her way down the aisle. I think he would definitely agree that it was worth the wait.

And then, the real beautiful part began. The wedding ceremony. Did I mention, at this point all the power in the chapel went out. You know what...it didn't matter. It was something to see as Justin didn't take his eyes from Tianna as she made her way down the aisle on her daddy's arm. You could tell her daddy was definitely proud too. I'm going to stop writing, but there is one shot in here that I realize might not be the most technically correct image, but it is my very favorite. When I saw it on my card after the wedding and realized what it was - despite how dark the image initially was I knew it was a keeper. Talk about a beautiful, quiet moment of intense emotion. I'll let you guess which one it is. Enjoy the love story as it unfolds...

Justin & Tianna - I had such a fun time with you guys. It was such a pleasure to be able to be a part of your wedding, not only as the photographer...but as a guest. You are a beautiful couple with huge things ahead of you and I hope you continue to let me be a part of the adventure from time to time! Congratulations!
And here's one for the road...this is for Atkins Nutritional!! Love you guys too!
